Guess the country and tournament edition from an international squad.

World Edition is the international tournament version of the guessing puzzle. You're given a national-team squad from a major tournament and must name the country and the edition from its players.

It spans tournament squads through the ages, so it's as much a test of football history as of squad recall.

How to play

1. Read the revealed squad and guess the country and tournament edition.
2. Reveal more players for help, at a cost to your score.
3. Identify it in as few clues as you can.

• A golden generation's core is usually unmistakable — lock onto it.
• Mixing eras? The youngest player often dates the squad.
